Jack von Marxen

Jack von Marxen is a stunning, all black, 4 month old German Shepherd with a touch of another breed. Jack is the perfect combination of gentle, sweet, playful, and calm. He likes to play with his foster brother, or is happy to relax next to his foster sister (senior dog). He is crate trained, sleeps through the night, potty trained, knows "sit" and "come," and walks wonderfully on a leash. Jack takes his treats gently and loves his toys and nylabones! He's wonderful with his human foster kids (3 and 5 years old) and would be a great addition to any family. The last of his brothers to be adopted and being sad alone at the rescue, he was brought into a foster home and has truly opened up and flourished. Come meet him, but know he will steal your heart when you do!

Rescued from the Kern County animal shelter.
His weight was 37 lbs when he first came in at the end of August, but is growing like a weed.
